Kuala Lumpur is a wonderful city, but like any capital, life can get intense. That's why we felt it needed a place where people could genuinely slow down, learn to breathe better, and take care of their bodies.
Our team has experienced the benefits of sauna, cold immersion, and breathwork across different parts of the world. But in KL, most recovery spaces felt either too clinical or too exclusive. When we discovered a rooftop garden in Chow Kit, surrounded by greenery yet minutes from the city centre, we saw the opportunity to create something different.
The goal was simple: make breathwork, cold plunge, and sauna accessible, welcoming, and enjoyable for everyone. Bringing an authentic Finnish sauna experience to Malaysia mattered to us, so we partnered with Sauna Luxe, Malaysia's premier sauna and cold plunge supplier, trusted by Malaysian royalty.
We're confident we have the best Finnish sauna KL has to offer. Our cold plunges run on both UV and ozone cleaning systems, making this the most hygienic contrast therapy experience in Asia.
We're also proud to have Nooa Laine as our lead ambassador. A Malaysian international footballer with dual Finnish and Malaysian heritage, Nooa genuinely lives the contrast therapy lifestyle.

Piyachai Teo is widely regarded as Malaysia's leading breathwork practitioner and is the country's only Advanced Instructor of the Wim Hof Method. He brings a unique combination of breathwork expertise and life coaching to every session at The Contrast Garden.
The Contrast Garden was co-founded by Patrick Campbell and Marco Velasquez. Both had experienced the benefits of sauna and cold immersion in different parts of the world and wanted to bring an accessible, welcoming version of that experience to Kuala Lumpur.
We discovered a rooftop garden at The Row in Chow Kit surrounded by greenery yet just minutes from the city centre. It was the perfect setting for a contrast therapy space that felt connected to nature without being far from where people live and work.
We are the only outdoor rooftop contrast therapy experience in KL. Unlike other places where you will be indoors or trapped in a mall, our setting is open air and surrounded by greenery. Our equipment is also supplied by premium cold plunge and sauna company Luxe Spa, and our community approach means sessions are welcoming and accessible rather than clinical or exclusive.
Nooa Laine is a Malaysian international footballer with dual Finnish and Malaysian heritage. He embodies the connection between Finnish sauna culture and Malaysia that sits at the heart of what we do, and is a genuine practitioner of contrast therapy.
